Η Φιλοζωική Δράση Καρπάθου είναι σε συνεχή επικοινωνία με τον Δήμο Καρπάθου σχετικά με τις τροφές για τα αδέσποτα του νησιού. Οι τροφές για τα αδέσποτα πλέον έχουν παραγγελθεί κατόπιν διενεργειών του κ. Γιώργου Δημάρχου, τον οποίο ευχαριστούμε θερμά για την άψογη συνεργασία. Οι τροφές θα 🙏🏻είναι διαθέσιμες στην αποθήκη του Δήμου εντός των ημέρων.

Τόσο η κ. Σοφία Χήρας όσο και η κτηνίατρος Άννα Κατωγυρίτη είχαν αποστείλει επίσημα γράμματα και είχαν συναντήσεις αυτοπροσώπως με τον κ. Γιώργο Δήμαρχο τους προηγούμενους μήνες ώστε να γίνει η παραγγελία των τροφών για τα αδέσποτα. Παρά το ότι υπήρχε μεγάλη διάθεση για προσφορά βοήθειας, η καθυστέρηση στην παραγγελία των τροφών σχετιζόταν με την έλλειψη οικονομικής επιτροπής.

➡️ Αφότου φθάσουν οι τροφές, η παραλαβή θα γίνεται οργανωμένα μέσω της αποθήκης του Δήμου (μόνο) όπως και πριν.

📣🇺🇸Announcement regarding the Stray Feeding Program- Municipality of Karpathos (scroll for English)📣

🇺🇸 The Animal Welfare Karpathos team has been in constant communication with the City Hall of Karpathos regarding the order of more food for the strays of the island. 🐾We are happy to announce that the order has officially been placed through the City Hall and the food will arrive to the Municipality’s storage and distribution center (Platiolo) over the next days🐾.

Over the last few months, Sophia Hiras and Dr. Anna Katogiritis had sent official letters to the City Hall urging them to order food on time. In addition, they had held in person meetings with Mr. George Dimarhos. In spite every well intention to help, the food could not be ordered on time due to Municipality’s lack of a financial committee.

🙏🏻With that said, we would like to thank Mr. George Dimarhos for the excellent collaboration we have had thus far and for the sincere interest he personally showed for this matter.

➡️Once the food arrives, the volunteers who are on the feeding list will be able to pick it up from the City Hall’s storage facilities as before.
